Description

The C&O New River Division has been created to replicate the operations across selected elements of the prototype railroad between Hawks Nest, WV and Alleghany, VA during late Autumn 1951. Each location has been modeled as close as practical to represent the prototype. Clifton Forge, VA is east staging and Handley, WV is west staging.

While this is the transition period, steam still dominates!

Also modeled is the Mann’s Creek Narrow Gauge railroad serving Clifftop and Landisburg, WV and its interchange with the C&O at Sewell, WV.
